Reflecting on Innovation, Inspiration, and What’s Ahead for Beauty Packaging
As we close out the year, we are taking a moment to reflect on what shaped the past twelve months at Canopy Beauty Packaging and what those moments are revealing about where the beauty industry is headed.
This year gave us a clear view into how the market is evolving. Brands are prioritizing premiumization, thoughtful design, and packaging that creates emotional connection. From elevated decoration techniques to softer silhouettes and growing categories like men’s, wellness, haircare, and body care, packaging is becoming a more intentional part of the brand experience.
In this post, we are recapping a few defining moments from the year. Our rebrand to Canopy, insights from two key tradeshows, the continued rise of premium finishes like IML, IMF, and glitter infused packaging, and why shapes like our Fiore jar have resonated so strongly. We will also share where we see beauty packaging moving as we head into 2026.
Becoming Canopy Beauty Packaging

A Clearer Expression of Who We Are
This year marked an important milestone as we officially became Canopy Beauty Packaging, formerly known as Cosmetic Specialties International (CSI).
This evolution was about clarity and alignment. Canopy reflects who we are today and how we show up for our customers, deeply invested in creating premium beauty packaging that helps brands stand out on the shelves. While our foundation remains rooted in decades of experience, the Canopy name allows us to more clearly communicate our vision through thoughtful design, advanced decoration, and true partnership at every stage of the packaging journey.

Tradeshows and Market Signals
What MakeUp in LA and Luxe Pack New York Revealed
This year, we connected with brands across two key industry events, MakeUp in LA and Luxe Pack New York, each offering a unique perspective on where beauty packaging is headed.

MakeUp in Los Angeles 2025
At MakeUp in LA, conversations centered around innovation, performance, and premium decoration. Our In-Mold Labeled (IML) jars and caps stood out as a clear point of interest. Brands were drawn to the ability to achieve photo quality graphics with a seamless, high-end finish. The interest reinforced what we are seeing across the market. Beauty brands want premium decoration that feels intentional, integrated, and elevated from the start.

Luxe Pack New York 2025
At Luxe Pack New York, the focus shifted toward emotional connection, shelf impact, and premium design details. This is where our glitter infused packaging truly shined. Glitter emerged as a standout, not just for its visual impact, but for the joy it brings to the consumer experience. In a crowded marketplace, these finishes created moments of delight and differentiation, proving that premium packaging can be both elevated and playful.
Our full reflections from the show are captured in our Luxe Pack New York recap blog.

Together, these two shows highlighted a shared theme. Premiumization is setting the standard. Whether through advanced decoration like IML or expressive finishes like glitter, brands are investing in packaging that feels thoughtful, distinctive, and worthy of attention.
A Shape That Resonated

The Continued Momentum of Fiore
One of the standout successes of the year was the continued popularity of our Fiore jar line.
Fiore’s soft, tapered silhouette reflects a broader shift across beauty packaging toward organic, tactile shapes that invite touch and feel comforting in hand. As daily routines become more ritual driven, packaging that feels human and approachable is resonating more than ever. Design forward, rounded profiles like our Fiore jar line enhance perceived value and pair seamlessly with premium finishes such as in-mold frosted (IMF) or in-mold labeled (IML) decoration. Making this line a natural fit across haircare, body care, and wellness applications.
PCR as a Standard

Post-consumer recycled (PCR) content has become a standard expectation in beauty packaging, particularly for jars. At Canopy, we offer jar solutions made with up to 100% PCR that align with retail standards while maintaining a premium look and feel. Our PCR resins preserve color integrity, allowing for bright colors and clean whites with minimal speckling. As brands continue to prioritize transparency and circular packaging strategies, PCR provides a visible and credible way to reduce virgin plastic use and build trust with today’s sustainability minded consumer.
Looking Ahead to 2026 …

Where Beauty Packaging Is Moving Next
As we look to the future, several trends are continuing to gain momentum.
Soft, rounded, and tapered shapes will remain at the forefront, supporting a more ergonomic and refined aesthetic. Premium decoration techniques like IML, IMF, and glitter will continue to play a key role in helping brands stand out and tell richer visual stories.
At the category level, growth remains strong across men’s grooming, wellness, haircare, and body care. These segments demand packaging solutions that balance durability, elevated design, and emotional connection. Thet also support more sustainable choices like the increased use of post-consumer recycled (PCR) content as a standard expectation.
The future of beauty packaging is elevated, intentional, and designed to create moments that matter. As we move into 2026, we’ve got you covered.
